Today I’ve been thinking more about school; my old student loans are out of default and that makes me eligible for money to go back and finish my degree. Of course, I’ma hafta do it soon, because my new loan payments are about the same as my car payments…
So I’ve been somewhat concerned. Taxes to file, FAFSA to file, transcripts from old schools should all be there (but I need to check)…meet with the Financial Aid folks to get everything ready for Fall ‘12…
Sad part is, I’ll have to take out loans to pay for school. I’m too rich in the eyes of the federal government to qualify for anything else. So that’s a bit of a bummer.
Until I get an email from the church I just went back to:
Scholarships from the Episcopal Women’s Council! I meet the criteria (belong to a diocese, woman over 23 going to an accredited school)…
Coincidence. I’ll check it out and apply in the morning. At this point, any extra money for school is a huge help.
