It’s been relatively easy transitioning to a vegan diet. I’ve already lost a little weight and dropped a jeans size without feeling deprived. I just have had to make adjustments and choices. And a little reading about what went into that food I was eating sure helped a lot. I don’t crave ice cream, that’s for sure!
It’s not a diet for everyone; I also didn’t do it because I hate omnivores or want to save all the animals. I did it purely for health reasons. I was tired of feeling run down all the time, and thought that a change would help. A thoughtful way of eating, instead of just consuming what was convenient at the time. When assessing my diet, I found that I was eating tons of junky take out! That has also ceased, and I couldn’t be happier.
So far, so veggie. I’ll keep you posted. xo
